Starting point

The company’s fast growth needed stronger visibility on Google to back it up.

The site was built on Shopify, and its organic visibility had to improve in a very competitive field.

The goals were:

  • lasting visibility at the top of Google for strategically important searches
  • less dependence on paid advertising
  • more good quote requests through the site

The biggest challenge: four customer groups, dozens of solutions

Energio offers over 20 energy solutions to four very different customer groups:

  • The homeowner considering solar panels and a home battery
  • The housing company comparing solar power and charging points
  • The business that needs energy storage or a battery for the reserve market
  • The farm suited to ground-mounted panels or small wind power

Each group searches Google with different words.

So the site was built by customer group: each group has its own menu and its own landing pages.

I planned and carried out the SEO as part of Energio’s outsourced digital marketing:

I rebuilt the site in WordPress: a mega menu by customer group and a landing page of its own for every solution.
