Revamp of Finland’s Most Popular Joke Site Parasvitsi.com

I founded the parasvitsi.com site in 2015 because I wanted to test search engine optimization techniques in practice.

In December 2017, a peak of 1827 sessions was reached on the same day.

In 2018 I started building the site renewal. The old site was built on a WordPress template, which was very heavy and difficult to use. I built a new, almost identical template on top of the Foundationpress starter theme. I reduced the loading speed to a tenth of the previous one, and as new features I added the ability to send jokes and voting.
